How to Make the Printing Effect of Digital Printing Machine Better？
1. Colorants
Colorants for Fedar dye sublimation printer can be divided into dyes and pigments. There are also inks that use dyes and pigments mixed with colorants. It should be noted that not all traditional dyes for printing can be used as colorants for digital printing inks. The dyes for inkjet printing currently developed are mainly reactive dyes, acid dyes, and disperse dyes.
2. Antibacterial agent
Antibacterial agent X-rite504 can prevent the ink from being mildewed during storage, and prevent the ink channel in the Fedar digital textile printer from being blocked by ink mold.
3. PH regulator
One angle of PH adjuster is to prevent dye hydrolysis and ensure the stability of dye solution, and the other angle is to make the ink nearly neutral and prevent the corrosion of the nozzle and ink system of the Fedar digital printing machine. Therefore, it is generally necessary to add a suitable pH regulator to control the pH value around 8.
4. Surfactant
There are two functions of surfactant: one is to control the surface tension of the ink to adapt it to the requirements of the Fedar sublimation printing machine; the other is to help the dye to improve the stability of the dye solution. Surfactant generally use glycol or naphthalenesulfonic acids.
5. Moisturizer
One angle of the humectant is to prevent the nozzle ink from drying out too quickly and clogging, causing ink jet barriers, and the other angle can adjust the diffusion and penetration of the ink on the fabric.
6. Dispersant
The dispersant is especially used in pigment-based digital printing inks for the dispersion of pigments. Commonly used dispersants are polystyrene-maleic anhydride, polyacrylic acid (ester) and so on.
7. Resin
For pigment-based digital printing inks, because the pigment has no affinity for textile fibers, it is necessary to use resin binders to color textiles. Commonly used resin adhesives include polyacrylic acid, water-based polyurethane, and UV curing adhesives.
